When fear replaces hope
You stop too long in one place
You think you can never get out of it
You feel doomed by yourself that you are stuck
When fear replaces hope
You get tired more
You find reasons why other things don't get done
You can't think past the fear that you are in
Long enough to be "present" in other things
Yet when you have hope
You speak in solutions
You speak, I finished this and I finished that
And you start looking for other things to do and to finish
You see fear breeds fear
And hope breeds hope
Love breeds love
Depth is what happens when you understand that this happens
Fear is the opposite of life
It stops life right to the point that you fear it
And Hope reminds you that everything is possible for real
And the only difference between something happening and something not happening
Is you deciding it will
Hope is the Hop in your steps
That keeps your shoes walking
And trust that you will find what you are looking for!

Sweet Happiness (Good Times Never Seemed So Good)
Dear God:
Just let me do right by you
Things are in such a mix down here
People are happy at times
But mostly they are looking to be happy
They don't even see at times when they are taking the happiness they seek away from themselves
That is the hardest thing for me to see
I always feel like I want to help everyone at once
Like I want to take care of them
And then I realize over and over again
That every one is responsible for their own missions
And my love is only a part of it
But the things I find myself saying
Over and over again
Trust yourself enough to know that everything that is happening to you today, is meant to teach you something
And if you can't see it today, then it will keep on coming to your door until you can open the door
Our lives here are to learn about overcoming and growing onward in what we each come here to do
We seem to be devastated everytime something doesn't go our way or when anything happens to us
I know it is hard to face any problems, issues or mishaps
We all have our share
However it is how we deal with it that makes us different from each other
Not one of us has a monopoly on wisdom
We need each other
Some of us write, some entertain, some weld metal, some make homes, some sell food
If one cog in the wheel is missing, then the wheel can or will eventually fall off
It is hard to listen to person after person complain about everything that isn't working
And when I ask what is working
There is discounting
As though because it is working
It doesn't matter
The working things are the VERY things that matter
That is what keeps us believing in all the other things that don't matter
What is right for us and what isn't
Why or why not
WE don't seem to pay attention to the clues down here
We all seem to want what isn't ours and not want what is
God, I am not looking for answers in this
I am just telling you like it is
People could be a lot happier down here, around here, if only they could see the beauty
The beauty that is already here rather than always "waiting" until it gets here
We usually miss when it gets here
Because we always want so much more and we don't even know what that is
I wish we could remember how great it is to have running water
And enough food to eat
That if someone loves us for real, no matter who they are, that is a great feeling
That we don't chase things for our ego's
However create beauty with our hearts
That just having a home and a bed to sleep in really does mean a lot
I keep thinking that when we can get to that level of appreciation
That we start to feel more sure of other things
And we begin to create greater life around us
And fears subside
Then we start to trust that happiness is really available and present
And that it is not something that happens to us
Happiness is just waiting to be noticed
Just let me do right by you

Checklist of Love
Could there be enough purposes of love?
A safe place
A pillow you can rest your head on and know that there is nowhere like it in the world?
Dinner for two or three or four, it is all the same, enough love to fill the room?
Honor of each other's soul without taking away and then waiting to say your sorry?
Love is so different now, than it ever has been
Love now, is open and willing, in a way that defies the pressures we face
We have people available from anywhere that can pierce a relationship
Whether it be Internet or work or just plain out and out flirting
We have bills that are bigger than us
Debt in many cases
Children that are brought up in a generation of technology
And we weren't
We have more eating out
And less time at home
We have jobs that need many hours
And paychecks that are not enough, no matter how much money we make
With all of that Love is here
Within blended families
And single parenting
Within disabilities that are slight to our children
And providing them with balanced childhood's
With attachments and grows that may not come from the parents themselves
Love now, says with all of that we still want to be with, meet and share our lives
With that special someone
Someone who we can trust
That makes all of this worth it
To have more happy days
Than harsher ones
To go out together
And come home to rest
To look forward to seeing
And work towards future
Love is not about sex
Although it comes with it
But it comes with other things too
So it couldn't be about sex alone
Love is about hope
And dreams
And "worth it's" coating each day we share
And "trying" to step out of our comfort zones to see the others point of view
And "helping" when it is needed without a word that WE did anything
Love is not about a home
LOVE IS HOME
Love is the air you breath in your home
Love is the clean sheets
And the sound of the washer going
Love is the scents of food
And the tray of cookies that come out of the oven
Love is the ride to work
Or to the airport
Love is the walk around the block
And the talks that bring you closer
Love is the truth, the love, the purity
Of YOU in your foundation
Love is the bounce board of all your other interactions
Love is the fuel of your soul
That fuels everything else
Love isn't only with one person
It extends itself to your children in a way you never knew
It opens up the reasons to know and interact
It gives the purpose to us to take on new things
It gives the reasons to hold on to old things
Love is the balance of all we can think
The reason for all that we do
The purpose of why we do it
And the sustainer of all that we know
Love is grand and should never be put on the back burner
Anything left on a back burner will burn
Do a love check today
Do you love your days?
Are you happy within them?
Do you feel the love of others in your home?
Do you share your love with those you love?
Do you go to work thinking you make a difference?
Do you come home feeling you are coming home to love?
Are the issues that need to be taken care of in trust and love and purity?
Are your intentions to fill your heart, your home with love?
Do you look forward to home, Home being anywhere that you are?
Life is Valentines
Days are love
And moments are lived
That bring opportunities to feel love
As much as we look for it
It's creation is in our hands

Sustainable Love
We expect so much from love
We want it to make us happy
We want it to take care of the rest of our lives
When....it comes
Love is always here
Yet it doesn't recognize itself
With all our conditions
It can only be love if so and so is cute
It can only be love if it is what makes me look good
It can only be love if it is what I wanted it to be
We don't even let love surprise us anymore
We expect so much from it that when it is here we walk right by it like it wasn't there
A person tells you they love you and we even find a way to not believe them
And continue treating them as though they do not
We will believe that someone who gives us no attention loves us, because we desire them
And then someone who speaks in love to us, we discount
That alone is a lot more telling in itself
We respect those who don't love and want them too, that is the challenge
And we release those who love us because we don't respect them for loving us, because we don't love ourselves yet!
That is a no win situation
Love is love is love
Yes, I said this before
And Yes, it is worth saying again
Living in the moment allows you to love without expectation
That in this moment, I love my job, I am not waiting for another to love again
I love my spouse, I am not going to let my misunderstanding taint my love and thoughts of them
I love my children, even on days when they don't love so much themselves
Love is the challenge of our souls discovery
To say I love myself too much and others too much to want to take away from that
I don't want to hurt the "us" we have become in life to win for a moment
Our life is a series of moments
I understand that now
If someone came to me and took away from me that I came to with love, It would start to pierce our trust
I don't want to do that
Go to those you love and remember this is what love is
The way you are now with love is the way you will be in any new situation that comes along with love
Love isn't postponed or better because you do not know the recipient yet
That is a trick of the mind that the grass really is greener on the other side
The grass is already green and if you can't see that now, it is even harder to see it coming
Love is a state of mind
Love is a way of being
Love is what we turn it into
And Love is not a chore
Love breeds greater love
Since understanding love breeds greater understanding of many more things
Love is patient
Love does not compete
Love is open ended
And Love is not timed or has an expiration date
WE have taken liberty on many angles of life
Yet love is still most important to all of us
It is time to let love be what it is
A healer of us
A natural medication to our souls
The glue that bonds us together
And love doesn't just disappear, we disappear
No more fooling ourselves with love
It is too strong an emotion to say No to, yet we haven't learned how to say Yes to it all the way
We have left love in the middle of the road and sometimes it gets hit and it doesn't understand why
Yet it always comes back fighting for itself
Let Love teach us in many more ways who we are
It has a lot to teach us
And if we can just say Yes, that we will live in our moments, understand the love that is present
It will slow us down from searching so feverishly for something we are standing in front of
It will give us the will to look forward to future love as we share love in this day
And it will allow us to see future love when it arrives
It will give us more to share of ourselves rather than expect so much from it
And the rewards of the truth of love is yours
We can only attract to us, the completeness we feel
Understanding love in this way, can only attract love in this way to you
